Brand New FREE Community Project

Panteg House Jazz & Blues
Community Orchestra

Every Weds 7-9pm

Directed by Susie Webb & Craig Webb, these FREE weekly sessions will provide a welcoming and supportive environment for adults of all abilities to come together, learn, and perform jazz and blues music.

A key feature of the project is its partnership with Singergise Radio, where elements of the orchestra will be broadcast as part of DJ4aDay CIC programming. This will include live performances and participant interviews, giving individuals a platform to share their experiences and further strengthening community connection.

Research consistently highlights the positive impact of music on mental health and wellbeing. Participating in group music-making can reduce stress, combat loneliness, build confidence, and create a strong sense of belonging. This project specifically targets adults who may be experiencing social isolation, offering them a meaningful opportunity to engage, connect, and thrive. The Final 15 mins is live on Singergise Radio at 8.45pm and then replayed on a Sunday at 3pm.

Huge thanks to Pontypool Community Council for the funding to get this project going and also to The National Lottery Community Fund that have recently given us a grant to secure the project for the next 2 years!

The Interact Club of Croesyceiliog School

Croesyceiliog School’s Interact Club aren’t just a typical youth group — they are recognised as the first Interact Peacebuilder Club in the world, and that title hasn’t been given lightly. It reflects months — actually years — of consistent, thoughtful action rooted in one simple belief: peace isn’t just about the absence of conflict, it’s about creating opportunity, dignity and connection for others.
